• BUN > 19 mg/dL (7 mmol/L) /
• Respiratory Rate ≥ 30 /
• Systolic BP < 90 mmHg or Diastolic BP ≤ 60 mmHg /
• Age ≥ 65

Interpretation of CURB-65 score:

• 0-1: Probably suitable for home treatment; low risk of death
• 2: Consider hospital supervised treatment
• 3-5: Manage in hospital as severe pneumonia; high risk of death
