65. Vortex keratopathy

Vortex keratopathy consists of symmetric, bilateral, whorl-like pattern of powdery, white/yellow corneal epithelial deposits; not of much visual significance.  Caused by : 

  • Fabry’s disease;
  • Drugs (Amiodarone, Chloroquine, Amodiaquine, Meperidine, Indomethacin, Chlorpromazine, Tamoxifen).
